Explore the art of printmaking in this two color jigsaw linocut workshop, designed to guide you through the fundamental techniques of carving and printing your own relief print! Perfect for beginners or those looking to refresh their skills, this 3 hour workshop offers an overview of linocut printing and the jigsaw technique used to achieve a two color print. 

You will create prints using your own design, or one of the provided templates.  You will be guided through the entire process of how to easily carve a single block that will be split into pieces to create the two color effect! The block size is 4x6in, and the final prints will be 5x7in. 

What to Bring: All materials and tools will be provided, but bring any design ideas or sketches you'd like to work with. 

By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with your own unique two color linocut print and the skills to continue exploring this creative medium on your own. Whether you’re looking to explore a new hobby or enhance your artistic repertoire, this workshop is a perfect starting point. All experience levels are welcome.
