In this introductory floral design class you’ll learn techniques that will take your arranging skills from basic to bodacious! Each participant with create their own floral centerpiece using locally sourced, seasonal blooms under the guidance of Juliet Totten. Processing flowers for arranging to ensure they stay fresh, professional tip and tricks and composition will all be covered in this 2 hour class. After the class is over take your masterpiece home to enjoy or give it to someone you love (ehemmm… don’t forget Mother’s Day is the 12th) ;)
As the co-founder of New York based design firm, Poppies & Posies, Juliet Totten’s floral designs have been featured in publications such as Martha Stewart Weddings, Brides and New York Magazine. Since leaving NYC, Juliet has continued her floral design work all over the world, from Morocco to the coast of Maine to right here in Birmingham.
