MAKEbhm provides access to space and equipment our members might otherwise not have. We are somewhere between a coworking space & a makerspace located in the Avondale neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama. With studios for members, coworking areas, and retail spaces, our facility is a gathering place for people who believe that good design, original ideas, and collaboration are the foundation of the creative community.

We provide space, tools, power, WiFi, and coffee. You provide the inspiration and perspiration. Let’s get to work.

Coworking Space

With dedicated offices, dedicated desk & hot desks, the coworking space is perfect for freelancers and small businesses alike. As a member you’ll have access to printing, conference space, phone booths, and kitchen - everything you need to get to work.

Dedicated Studios

The heart of MAKE is the dedicated studio spaces. These open floor plan, 9x9’ spaces, can be combined to grow with you. All spaces have access to power, some have wall space & some are free standing. Most importantly, you are guaranteed to have some creative neighbors.

Shared Studios

MAKE is built around three pillar studios. Wood, Ceramics and Print; where we provide access to shared equipment, classes and memberships. Each studio is a community, learning together and working together.
